About WeddingMath
WeddingMath is the celebration arithmetic: what the wedding costs at your guest count, where the money goes by category, and the bar bill nobody budgets honestly.
WeddingMath exists because wedding costs scale with guest count while advice is given in totals — and the bar is always underbudgeted. Per-guest math, category splits, and the alcohol multiplier make the budget real before the deposits are down.
Every calculator on WeddingMath shows its formula and its assumptions on the page, so you can check the math, reproduce it in a spreadsheet, or argue with it. Inputs are processed entirely in your browser — nothing is sent to a server, and there are no accounts.
WeddingMath is an independent, ad-supported project. We are not affiliated with any lender, brand, agency, or the sources we cite (published industry standards). If a number looks wrong, the contact page reaches a human who fixes it.
